Who can get the vacation voucher?
After much talk, the incentive for families in the form of vacation vouchers really found a place in the relaunch decree, when it received a budget from the government, as explained by Minister Franceschini (Pd), of about 2.4 billion euros. It is a tax credit to be spent on Italian accommodation facilities (hotels, farms, campsites and bed & breakfasts) by 2020. This is a tax credit for families with low middle income (Isee less than 40 thousand euros) and can only be used by one member per family.
The bonus can be a maximum of 500 euros (which are reduced to 300 for families consisting of only two people and 150 euros for those consisting of one person).
How and when you can use the vacation voucher
The voucher can be used from July 1 to December 31, 2020: 80% will be in the form of a discount on the consideration due to the structure, while the remaining 20% will go towards an income tax deduction. Accommodation facilities can assign credit to their private providers, credit institutions, or financial intermediaries.
Tourism and promotion fund.
To support the tourism sector with market operations, the decree established a fund with an endowment of 50 million euros by 2020, aimed at subscribing to units or actions of collective investment savings organizations and investment funds, managed by management companies. savings, based on the purchase, renovation and improvement of properties for tourist accommodation.
