Following today’s announcement of the arrival of Fastweb’s Ultra FWA offer to 50 Italian cities (with another 500 ready to add), the company also wanted to take the opportunity to count an additional part of its technological development, with the arrival of the 2.5 Gbps FTTH fiber in 30 Italian cities.

The Fastweb site was immediately updated with the names of the first cities that will be covered by this service:
Milan, Rome, Turin, Naples, Genoa, Palermo, Bari, Bologna, Florence, Verona, Parma, Pescara, Modena, Bergamo, Brescia, Venice, Catania, Messina, Padua, Trieste, Reggio di Calabria, Monza, Salerno, Trento, Perugia, Prato, Casalecchio di Reno, Ancona, Reggio nell’Emilia and San Lazzaro di Savena.
Even users who are already Fastweb customers will upgrade to the new 2.5Gbps technology at no additional cost. The company will also launch its 5G smartphone offering soon.
