He would take his wife to a rural area, take her out of the car and, after another fight, shoot at least four shots at her. Then he would return to the car, leaving his dying wife behind, go home and call the police, recounting what he had done a few minutes before. It is about the reconstruction, currently under investigation by investigators, of the murder that occurred today November 11 in San Felice a Cancello, a small town in the province of Caserta. A 34-year-old local ended up handcuffed, Michele Marotta. The help was useless for his wife, the 30-year-old. Maria Tedesco: He had already died when the soldiers and health workers arrived at the scene of the shooting.

The murder took place in via Castello, on Mattinale Hill, in the village of Cancello Scalo. The reasons are still unknown, but among the clues taken into consideration the passionate one is considered more reliable: the shots would have been the epilogue of a fight born of jealousy and the two would have already fought violently even in the last days.

Carabinieri Maddaloni intervened at the man’s home after the phone call. They blocked the 34-year-old and, hearing his story, rushed to the scene of the crime, hoping to find the woman still alive; by the time they arrived, however, it was too late. The body was taken to Caserta Hospital for an autopsy. In via Castello, not far from the body, the weapon used was also found. In these hours the military is listening to Marotta to reconstruct the morning of madness.
