(ANSA) – MILAN, SEPTEMBER 27 – An impeccable 48-year-old Albanian worker residing in Bergamo was arrested after the police found 21 kg of heroin in an apartment he held the keys to on via Sardegna in Milan.

On Friday afternoon, mobile agents saw the man detained with the truck on Via Tiepolo. A man briefly got into the vehicle and then entered a building and lost the trail.

Later, the agents searched the driver of the van who was sitting in the driver’s seat and still had a bag of 10 grams of cocaine on his legs. He told police it was for personal use, but, considering the amount, the agents made other checks and found him a set of keys that he would not say anything about.

The mobile team, however, returned to the accommodation in via Sardegna where they found a bag with 43 heroin bars for a total weight of about 21 kg. They also found 2.5 kg of cutting substance, packaging material, presses and 5,000 euros in cash. The man was taken to San Vittore. (HANDLE).
