A report from a relative allowed the police to make an accusation of sexual violence against the stepfather of a minor, a foreigner of Asian origin, who allegedly suffered groping by the man, the mother’s new partner.
The story took place yesterday, December 25, in Pisa. The police received a call from a young man, who referred to the case that the victim’s brother, his cousin, told him. The agents went to confirm when it happened and when they got to the house they found Mom and suspected that they discussed animatedly. The man is known to occasionally stay in the family home.
When reconstructing what happened, the policemen delineated the timeline: in the morning the stepfather, in the absence of his mother, would have performed sexual acts and groped the minor, who then locked himself in the room. When the woman returned, both she and her brother became suspicious of the situation, and the younger finally burst into tears while recounting the episode.
Thus, the agents took the man to the police station to be investigated, and ended up denouncing him. The young woman, according to the Public Ministry of Pisa and the Juvenile Court of Florence, was placed in a protected structure, away from the family context, waiting to fully clarify the facts.
