A dizziness, a trip, something unexpected made him lose his balance while he was on the path that crosses the forest to reach the bridge, causing him to fall into the underlying escarpment for about ten meters and dragging his granddaughter with him, fortunately he stopped some few. meters from the edge of the road and practically unharmed.
The forty-year-old daughter who followed them rushed to help the girl, injuring her ankle, while Antonio suffered bruises and head injuries. Arrived by land by volunteers from the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps, the three were transferred by air ambulance to the Negrar hospital. The complications that arose after the trauma suffered led to the death of Professor Sartori, a very beloved figure in Molina, in the small hamlet of Fumane, where he was born 77 years ago.
