At the Portuguese GP a Portimao, Hamilton hits Bottas’ pole with one monstrous last try: “It’s a hardcore track.” It was a matter of two, the Mercedes on the new Algarve track was unattainable. Until recently he was considered the potential heir of Bottas in Mercedes, he now runs the risk of being left out of F1 next year.
