Fugatti’s order a few hours before the national dpcm, and Trentino becomes the only area in Italy with a curfew at 20

If the government blocks Italy from December 24 to January 6, the president of the provincial council Fugatti wants to distinguish himself and, therefore, since last midnight he puts into force a “thirty” ordinance that will probably be active only for a few days, already that Implemented the national dpcm approved last night by the government. Also because the Fugatti ordinance laid its foundations on the fact that Trentino had been confirmed as the “yellow zone”. But since last night we know that all of Italy will be “red” for the holidays, plus another 4 “orange” days from the Brenner pass to Sicily.

The question arises: but couldn’t, in Trentino, wait a few hours (maybe a few minutes was enough) to do the ordinance after seeing what the national dpcm was like?

The ordinance issued yesterday by the president of the province, Maurizio Fugatti, actually sees very little news, except the curfew that begins at 8 p.m., no longer at 10 p.m. (as it will be throughout Italy also until 6 January), and the closing of the stores is set at 7:30 p.m.

In medium and large sales structures, the people counter must guarantee 4 square meters per person. Bars and restaurants will continue to close at 6pm and take-out is allowed until 10pm. Each of us will be able to move house to pick up take out products, but you will have to show that you are doing exactly that, and only that, otherwise fine. Meanwhile, the National Scientific Technical Committee confirmed Trentino in the yellow band.

“The ordinance comes now because the Ministry and the Higher Institute of Health attribute colors to the regions only on Friday mornings, not before,” explains Fugatti. “Trentino has been confirmed in the yellow band and this decision erases the accusations about contagion data that we provide to the government from time to time.” The government, in practice, says that we are acting correctly ”.

But staying in the yellow band is not enough, continues the governor, “in fact we are concerned about our health situation. The experience accumulated in recent weeks – for two months, the Ministry’s scientists have divided the territories into colored bands – says that the yellow restrictions are not enough to stop the spread of the infection. “In Trentino, Veneto and Lazio”, insists the president of the province, “the contagion has not subsided as much as it has subsided in the red zones, where they closed everything for a month”.

The movements.
As of today, the curfew begins at 8 pm, no longer at 10 pm, and lasts as usual until 5 am. “The contagion occurs very often during dinners with friends and evening meetings between families, then affects the elderly,” says the president of the Province. This restriction is innovative compared to other territories and for us it is very important ”.
After 20:00 h. You can only move for work, health or urgent reasons.

Displacements are allowed from one municipality to another (“we are still on the yellow strip,” adds Fugatti), obviously at the established time, which is from 5 to 20.

The “old” restrictions are confirmed, says the governor, “such as the prohibition of meeting -in all public places- in more than 6 people, except in the case of cohabitants.”

Shops
From today until January 6 the stores will close at 7.30pm. In medium and large sales structures, access will be regulated by personal counters so that they are 4 square meters per person. In structures of less than 250 square meters, the separation of one meter has been confirmed.

Malls.
Nothing changes but it is better to reiterate: the shopping centers remain open on weekdays. On holidays and the eve of holidays (today and tomorrow, for example), only grocery stores, agricultural and horticultural products, tobacconists and kiosks, pharmacies, parapharmacies and health centers remain open.
Bars and restaurants.

The places are open until 6 in the afternoon, while take away food is allowed until 10 at night: until that time, in short, you can go to the place to get the requested food. «It is a valid recipe also in the red zones, and we make it ours. But be careful: you must be able to show that you are going to get pizza or take away food at the restaurant. There will be controls and the police will be able to fine.

But how can this be demonstrated? It’s easy on the way back, there will be pizza or roast chicken in the car, but on the way out? Fugatti has not specified but trusts “the sense of responsibility of the people of Trentino”, also because “the medical part has been making an enormous effort for weeks. And it has been doing so for longer than in the first wave.”

“We will see how the decree of the Prime Minister intersects, as of December 24, with our ordinance,” said Fugatti yesterday at noon. And at night we find out: the decree law establishes that from December 24 to January 6 all of Italy is “red” on holidays and days before holidays – with shops, restaurants and bars closed – and “orange” the rest of days (there are only four: December 28, 29, 30 and January 4, with shops open but bars and restaurants closed).
