An application to follow the evolution of the infection in the city of Frosinone. It has been operational since yesterday, at the site of the main city. The “Fr Monitoring” is made up of two data management profiles: the first, for internal use exclusively and intended for competent public bodies in health emergencies, the second, for external use, with direct and free access to the entire population.
Through the georeferencing system, the institutions will be able to monitor the trend of the curve for the purposes of epidemiological analysis of the data, also carrying out an effective tracking of contacts.
The other profile, on the other hand, may be consulted by individual citizens, who will have the opportunity to learn, completely anonymously, the evolution and spread of the virus in the ten areas in which the city has been divided. The information can be used to avoid frequenting areas where more critical situations should be concentrated. In fact, the number of positive or isolated people in the different areas will be immediately visible.
The objectives that the Municipality can achieve with the application are: optimization of services for the surveillance of the fragile population, organization of services for emergency management based on the geolocation of existing structures in the area and response to the need for home care and assistance. .
In the period from 5 to 12 November, from the application it is observed that the daily increase in cases was 0.4% in zone 8 (center-De Matthaeis- Madonna della neve), 0.2% in the zone 1 (historic center), zone 4 (Colle Timio-corso Lazio) and zone 6 (Cavoni-Polledrara). While the morbidity data are 1 for zone 8 (center-De Matthaeis-Madonna della neve), 0.7 for zone 1 (center), 0.6 for zone 2 (Maniano, Casilina Sud), 3 ( Latin America-Pescara) and 7 (Colle Cottorino-Maria) and 0.5 for zones 5 (industrial estate-airport-Casilina Nord) and 6 (Cavoni-Polledrara).
This, however, is the trend of the cases reported by the Local Health Authority in the last period: November 6, 57, November 7, 33, November 8, 14, November 9, 23, 10, 25 November 11, November 26, November 12, November 15, November 13, 11. 204 cases in eight days for an average of 25.5. Again with reference to November 13, the Municipality of Frosinone has 8 deceased people (0.69%), 440 in home isolation (37.9%), 375 positive (32.3%) and 338 negative (29.11% ). During the period, the isolates fluctuated between 435 and 492, the positives between 375 and 404 (724 the total since the beginning of the emergency), the negatives instead have grown from 235 to 338.
“It will be possible to immediately identify the absolute value of the positive cases reported by ASL every day – declares the Mayor of Frosinone, Nicola Ottaviani – It will also be possible to see the absolute data and the percentage of the situation on the indicated date, taking into account to people in isolation, positive, negative, deceased, also monitoring the progress of the epidemiological picture. Among the available tools, also the one related to the contagion possibility index. The graph in question illustrates the evolution of the average possibility of contagion throughout the municipality. Using the graph, it will be possible to follow the trend of the epidemiological situation in real time.
In a delicate moment like the one we are living in, the Municipality felt the need to provide its citizens with an additional tool to prevent and contain the virus. The use of technology, in this sense, can represent a fundamental ally. In addition, the national and international scientific institutions to which the application was illustrated have expressed great interest in the initiative launched by the Frosinone City Council, as it constitutes an interesting analysis model for cities of similar size to the capital ” . .
