The contagion curve becomes a straight line or almost. For the fourth of the five days this week, the threshold of 105 infections has not been exceeded. Yesterday, in fact, 103 new cases in Frosinone with 183 negative. However, there are two other deaths, at Cassino and San Giovanni Incarico.
The deaths
The death of the woman from Sant’Ambrogio sul Garigliano is included in the regional bulletin, as reported in yesterday’s edition. Meanwhile, news of two victims has arrived. They are two men, the first 45-year-old from Cassino and the second 87-year-old from San Giovanni Incarico. Especially the first death, because of his age, deeply affected not only those who knew him but also the health personnel who did everything possible to save him. At first, it seemed like he could pass this test. Yesterday, aggravation and death. Today at 15 the funeral. During the week there are 18 victims, or 3.6 per day, while in the last ten days there are 42. For twenty days there have been 77 deaths, therefore 3.85 every 24 hours.
And contagion
Yesterday’s data does not differ much from the previous one: 103 against 105. But it is the whole week that marks a discontinuity with respect to the recent past. In fact, it started with 54 cases (but Monday’s figure is conditioned by the reduction in the number of swabs processed over the weekend) then went to 104, then on Wednesday, to 136, the maximum of the last seven days, to settle at 105 and 103. The total for the week sees 502 infections, 100.4 per day. The month of December opened with 448 cases and an average of 112, practically half compared to November, closed at 219.6 and at the same levels as October (113.8). The highest increase of the day, yesterday, was recorded in Cassino with 12, then Frosinone 10, Sora 8, Ceccano 4, Monte San Giovanni Campano 4, Alatri 3, Fiuggi 3 and Veroli 3.
In the last 24 hours, 183 people have been negative and among them 20 are residents in Sora, 19 in Frosinone, 13 in Veroli, 10 in Alatri, 7 in Ceccano, 6 in Monte San Giovanni Campano, 4 in Cassino and 1 in Fiuggi . In the last sixteen days, 4,354 people have been rendered negative for a daily average of 272.12.
