But in the Dpcm there will also be new rules on the capacity of buses, metro and regional trains that can be filled up to 80 percent. Finally, the decree will reiterate the stop of discos as well as the reopening of stadiums.

Obligation to wear a mask from 6 pm if there is a crowd

Among the novelties that enter the new Dpcm is also the fact that the new text with the anti-contagion regulations will incorporate the obligation – introduced by an ordinance of the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza on August 16 – to wear the mask as of August 18 at 6 a.m. even in places open to the public where there is a risk of meetings. And in particular “in the spaces belonging to places and premises open to the public as well as in public spaces (squares, open spaces, streets, walkways) where physical characteristics facilitate spontaneous and occasional encounters”. The Dpcm will also confirm the rules on the obligation of swabs for those arriving from the highest risk countries (Spain, Malta, Greece and Croatia) and the prohibition of entry of 17 countries. In addition, the quarantine obligation for arrivals from Romania and Bulgaria must be confirmed.

Buses, trains and subways filled up to 80 percent

The decree will also insert the norms foreseen on local transport that, after the agreement with the Regions, foresees expanding the capacity of buses, subways and regional trains by up to 80 percent if, in particular, effective ventilation and replacement systems are guaranteed. air. Standing should be guaranteed the separation of one meter, the new Dpcm should then confirm the prohibition of openings for discos and stadiums despite pressure from the world of football with Serie A that will restart on September 19 (for now they are possible openings only for minor events for a maximum of a thousand spectators). The decree will be valid for one month and, therefore, until 7 and a week after the expiration of the state of emergency that was extended for the last time until October 15. A possible further extension will be decided based on the trend of infections that remain high. There were 1,695 new cases yesterday, a slight decrease compared to yesterday, but with 16 deaths the highest number in recent weeks.
