10% tax reduction on takeout

An amendment to the budget bill approved by the Commission provides for the reduction from 22% to 10% of VAT on take-out food, as well as on table service.

Exemptions for non-profit organizations are maintained

Exemptions from paying VAT on the purchase of goods and services by non-profit activities are maintained. The amendment approved by the House Budget Committee provided for the annulment of article 108 of the maneuver, relating to the adaptation of the VAT regulations.

Stop VAT on anti-Covid vaccines

Anti-Covid vaccines, syringes and tampons will cost less because they will be VAT free. The Italian government aligns itself with the indications that have come from the European Union. On November 27, the European Parliament approved the Commission’s proposal to exempt future Covid vaccines and test kits from VAT until the end of the pandemic.
