The police found them in possession of a kilo of heroin and 3,800 euros in cash. Four young people, two Italians and two Albanians, from the province of Bergamo – stopped at the highway exit South Bolzano for a control of Covid measures.

Since Alto Adige is still in the “orange” zone, the four, who obviously knew each other even though they were traveling in two different cars, did not have a valid justification for entering the regional territory. In the first car, a Fiat, drugs were found. In the second, a BMW, money.

The Fiat driver, a 22-year-old Albanian citizen, was arrested, while the other three, including his brother, were denounced for complicity in drug trafficking. In addition to the seizure of the two cars, the four also received a fine of 533 euros for violating anti-Covid legislation.
