All the children and young people of Valle d’Aosta entered the school this morning, although some took the risk of staying home until the end. In fact, the anti-covid procedure for the husband of a childhood teacher at the Saint-Roch school in Aosta began on Saturday night, with a positive result. The quarantine has begun for his wife, but also for Fr.er the other three colleagues, who in recent days had had contact with her for work reasons.

The immediate intervention of the Prevention Department of the Local Health Authority and the Superintendency of Studies has allowed, less than 24 hours from the beginning of the school year, to allow children to return to classes.

“The contact tracing operations were immediate. On Sunday the classrooms where the teachers were present were cleaned up – explains the Superintendent of Studies Marina Fey – and the substitutes were contacted immediately, in addition to providing for the inclusion of an additional assistant. This morning everything was ready to receive the children. “

To thank the Local Health Authority and the Aosta City Council, it is the director of the school Guido Cossard who says: “It is the demonstration that the protocol works. Everything that had to be done has been done and that gives us hope for the safety of the boys ”.
