A 48-year-old cleaner, Albanian living in Bergamo, was arrested for drug possession, after the police found in an apartment of which he had the keys in via Sardegna in Milan 21 kg of heroin.
On Friday afternoon, mobile agents saw the man detained with the truck on Via Tiepolo. A man briefly got into the vehicle and then entered a building and lost the trail.
Later, the agents searched the driver of the van who was sitting in the driver’s seat and still had a bag of 10 grams of cocaine on his legs. He told police it was for personal use, but, considering the amount, the agents made other checks and found him a set of keys that he would not say anything about.
The mobile team, however, returned to the accommodation in via Sardegna where they found a bag with 43 heroin loaves for a total weight of about 21 kg. They were also foundand 2.5 kg of cutting material, packaging material, presses and 5 thousand euros in cash. The man was taken to San Vittore.
