Pierre Gasly, in Italian AlphaTauri, won 71 Monza GP. The Frenchman preceded the Spanish Carlos Sainz, aboard a McLaren. Outside Ferrari Charles Leclerc, by accident, and Sebastian Vettel, due to a brake problem. Gasly, in his first career victory, also preceded future Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz junior, Canadian Lance Stroll at Racing Point, third. Lando Norris fourth in McLaren, Finn Valtteri Bottas fifth in Mercedes. Daniel Ricciardo’s Renault ranked sixth, Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes ranked seventh, following a comeback after a 10 “penalty from box.
