Formula 1 GP Abu Dhabi 2020: Terruzzi report cards

Advertisements – Since this year my report cards have doubled: on Sunday, immediately after the race, in text format, and on Monday in a new video format. Bookmark the article so you don’t lose it! And if you also want to give a vote to the Formula 1 drivers, write the report card of a driver of your choice in the comments of my Facebook page using the hashtag #pagelleterruzzi: the most beautiful ones will be included in the next report cards.

Mine favorite comment Sakhir’s GP is Marco Miceli, who writes: “I vote 10 posthumously to Buster Keaton for choreographing the Mercedes tire changes and vote 10 to the star mechanic who performs the slapstick comedy number to perfection #pagelleterruzzi”

Here are my report cards from the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 GP held at Yas Marina:

Vote 10 to Verstappen. A victory at the end that rewards a year of fatigue and attacks, frustrations and endeavors. So it seems to me a sacrosanct result for the driver who has bothered Mercedes the most. If he were a little more inclined to laughter, to lightness, he would be invited to dinner for Christmas. Separated, of course, I recommend it.

Vote 9 to Vettel. The race has little to do this time. Rather a respectful hello after a long red adventure with some black spots inside. For those who admire him, for those who criticize him, it is time to pay tribute to a 4th World Cup player who changes his team and his life. Thank you. Thank you anyway. So if you don’t sing a modified version of Azzurro, all the better, let’s go.

Grade 8 for Norris and Ricciardo. They will pair up next year and have closed 2020 with top-tier races. Forming, net of the results, one of the most pleasant couples of this time full of people who despise him. It would be nice to read your letters to Santa Claus.

Grade 7 to Albon. We don’t know if he will be able to keep his job. In any case, he gave it his all and doing good figures with Verstappen is like trying to get noticed with Brad Pitt. With all due respect to Pérez, he does not deserve to leave the circle.

Vote 6 to Raikkonen. He too finished a season in chiaroscuro with dignity. It has Giovinazzi as a partner, I say this to measure. Not Jim Clark. Anyway, a nice send-off for a pilot destined to break sensational longevity records.

Vote 5 for Bottas. After all the blows it has received, it still has an enviable wax. At least one final act in front of Hamilton. For someone who has been delayed too often and reluctantly, a small but enough comfort to go home to play hockey, away from everyone and everything.

Vote 4 to Leclerc. Loffio, listless, who knows. One last pale and sad act. This Ferrari 2020 has marked it. Except Charles doesn’t allow bad days and he’s had too many. Eighth in the World Cup. No, I say: eighth.

Vote 3 for Paseo. In stable wrist also in Abu Dhabi. Vettel’s future colleague makes ten cakes for every glazed day. We are not there, poor star. It has the guaranteed place. With all the unemployed in circulation a shameful thread.

Vote 2 for Hamilton. The vote is an exaggeration but also an opportunity not to be missed. Defeated by Verstappen, by Bottas … Not cool, he’s a Covid veteran. Why insist? To keep Russell at bay? In short, it is better to forget this last chapter of an unforgettable story. And then ‘this contract spiel got a bit boring.

1 vote in Abu Dhabi. Whoever managed to stay awake wins a Boer. A useless track, before the fireworks, the sunset and several bundles. Zzzzzzzz … ..

Vote 0 for the Abu Dhabi tractor. Still? Are we still here in the heavy vehicle on the track? Come on, it’s enough, it’s enough.
