Foggia, 20 kg of hashish and a large paper bomb in the basement of a clean record: detained 39 years

An incredible ‘treasure’ hidden in the cellar. This was discovered by the ‘Falcons’ of the Foggia mobile team, in the availability of a 39-year-old man with a clean record of the place, arrested for the crime of detention for drug trafficking purposes, aggravated by the large amount.

The activity dates back to last Thursday, September 17, when the agents -in the framework of investigative activities aimed at contrasting crimes related to drug trafficking and trafficking- have scored a of domiciliary searches, expanded to boxes attributable to subjects other than the formal holders.

In one of these rooms, a cardboard box was recovered, carefully hidden under some household goods, containing 200 hashish loaves, each weighing 100 grams, for a total weight of 20 kilograms of amazing substance, which would have paid off in retail about 100 thousand euros.

The careful search also made it possible to recover in the same box a handcrafted explosive device, not classified and not approved, of the type ‘paper bomb’ or ‘dark shot’, with detonating effects, which contained an explosive mixture based on potassium perchlorate and aluminum , with a total gross weight of about 400 g. For these reasons, the 39-year-old was arrested and associated with the Foggia prison.
