“Dear Union,
this to inform you of the non-compliance with the anti-Covid-19 regulations on board some flights.
In my specific case, I am referring to the Ryanair flight from Cagliari to Trieste on October 4, flight FR5600.
Many of the passengers did not wear surgical masks (although the airline itself sends a text message before the trip reminding them of its mandatory nature). The flight attendants responded that it is not their job to check, but rather it is the airport that must block passengers without surgical masks when boarding. Is it really so?
So I moved a few seats back to avoid sitting next to a passenger in a non-surgical mask, but next to me on the aisle side there was a passenger without a mask calling, two behind with the mask down and two more in front in the hall. same conditions.
Then I moved again, and the flight attendant told me that for safety reasons I could not occupy that seat. When I pointed out that I had moved again because the passengers further back had no masks, she replied that it was not true. I had to accompany her and point them out one by one.
During the flight, the passengers continued their irresponsible behavior undisturbed.
I emphasize that the undersigned is part of the high-risk categories, but also that the right to life belongs to everyone and cannot be compromised by reckless management or by behavior that is disrespectful to one’s own health and that of others. ”
