SITUATION. The high-pressure field that settled over south-central Europe and Italy between Sunday and Monday is already under attack by an Atlantic disturbance that seeks to erode its north-western perimeter. The front has reached the northwest regions and determines an increase in cloud cover in the northwest, but the associated phenomena are rather weak and poorly organized, due to the resistance exerted by high pressure. From here to the next few days indeed the anticyclonic field may prevail on the attempts of Atlantic disturbances, limiting the intensity and extension of the phenomena to part of the north and the north-central regions of the Tyrrhenian. In other places, high pressure will keep weather conditions stable. Let’s see the details:
WEATHER ITALY TUESDAY. Cloudy in the northwest with light snowfall in the Alps from 1300/1400 m, light rain or drizzle in upper Piedmont, upper-middle Lombardy, Liguriansa trend towards the west of Emilia and Trentino at night. In the rest of the north, cloudy skies due to high stratifications, without phenomena. The rest of Italy will also witness a day characterized by the passage of medium-high and stratified clouds that will refer to the most inactive branch of the front, unproductive due to high pressure. In the afternoon more compact clouds over the upper part of Tuscany but without phenomena. Stable or mild temperatures local increase.
WEATHER ITALY WEDNESDAY. Still cloudy in the north with scattered light rain, a little more frequent in Levante Ligure, Lombardy, Western Emilia and Veneto, with phenomena that will tend to diminish and exhaust during the day and some brightness reaching the western Alps. In the central regions compact clouds in Tuscany with rain more common in north-central areas. Scattered clouds e also great clearings on the rest of Italy, but with clouds that rise at night on the Lazio coast. For all the details go to the section Weather Italy.
