MARINA DI CARRARA – A fight in the center of Marina di Carrara. The area is the usual one, that of the nightlife that last summer had jumped to the honor of the national news with the attacks of several young people against the police. And it’s the same area as another heated discussion that took place a couple of days ago.
Today, the last day of “freedom” before the activation of the red zone decided by the last government decree, many young people gathered (and gathered) in via Rinchiosa to celebrate, apparently, the “last of the year”, given than the coronavirus restrictions that will not allow the traditional New Year’s Eve celebrations this year. The fact is that, for reasons to be clarified, around 5.30 p.m., shortly before the closure of the premises, a fight broke out between young people. The alcohol vapors probably catalyzed the spirits and a furious fight ensued that would also have caused injuries.

The alarm to the police was raised by some passers-by and patrols from the Carrara Police Station rushed to the scene, engaged in the area together with the carabineros and the municipal police for anti-assembly services. However, upon arrival at the scene of the fight, it seems that the worst was over and there was no trace of those responsible. At the moment, therefore, no arrests or complaints have been triggered, but the analysis of the videos taken by the video surveillance cameras to track down those responsible is ongoing.
