Worrying and difficult to understand figures for today’s hospitalizations in Molise. The regional health company has up to 20 new entries in the three hospitals where patients with covid-19 are hospitalized and, in addition, there has been no discharge.
Today’s new entries are divided into 11 in Cardarelli, of which 8 in Resuscitation and 3 in Infectious Diseases, 6 in Gemelli Molise and 3 in San Timoteo. Molise thus marks a worrying +20 in hospitalizations.
CARDARELLI: IN INTENSIVE CARE +8 ADMISSIONS

The number of patients in intensive care, again according to the Asrem bulletin, is 17, a number that is however much higher than the capacities known so far for the ward that has 12 in addition to the 2 so-called surgical blocks. However, of the 17 reported, 2 have already been transferred out of the region as a result of the so-called Red Cross.

Cardarelli’s resuscitation, even with the activation of the operating room ventilators, fails to cope with the number of interventions required to save lives. Even today, as a result of a protocol that has been in operation for days – since the state of maximum severity of the pandemic was decreed on the hospital front – the Civil Protection helicopter has departed from the capital Molise to hospitals in other regions where it is a emergency availability. The Cross network (remote center for medical rescue operations) involves all health centers in the country. The first flight took place this morning around noon, the second just before 4pm this afternoon and then again in the evening.
GEMINI, EXPANDED COVID DEPARTMENT: 16 PATIENTS
There are also 6 hospitalizations reported to Gemelli Molise in Campobasso and they refer to two patients from Campobasso, one from Termoli, one from Scapoli, one from Santa Croce di Magliano and finally one from Busso. The Asrem reports 16 covid patients in the hospital who at the peak of the emergency were identified to deal mainly with ordinary hospitalizations.
The places that had been made official a few days ago have been activated, although we are still waiting for the personnel and materials, such as monitors and helmets, provided by the Neuromed group of the Patriciello family. The room was installed last weekend and includes diving and hospitalization posts. Today 6 people from Santa Croce di Magliano, Busso, Scapoli, Termoli and Campobasso were transferred to Gemelli Molise.
SAN TIMOTEO, OTHER 3 FIRST AID ADMISSIONS

In San Timoteo 10 are reported, although from sources within the Termolese hospital the figures should be a little higher.
DEAD, 4 IN CARDARELLI and 1 IN THE RSA DE SANT’ELIA
Today there are 4 deaths recorded in Molise, as reported by Asrem, due to covid-19. In the last hours, three people from the infectious diseases department of Cardarelli di Campobasso have lost their lives: a 62-year-old man from Macchia Valfortore, an 82-year-old man from Santa Croce di Magliano and a 94-year-old man from Isernia. The other death was registered in the intensive care unit of the Campobasso hospital where an 80-year-old man from Termoli died.
To these must be added a woman who died in the RSA of Sant’Elia a Pianisi, where several elderly people died due to complications from the infection. Therefore, the total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic in Molise amounts to 352.
POSITIVE, THEY ONLY HAVE 27 BUT WITH LESS PADS
8.4% positivity rate, but positives are few due to the weekend effect, when swab processing decreases. 6 positive in Termoli, 3 in the centers of Agnone, Busso, Campobasso. 2 instead of San Martino in Pensilis and Santa Croce di Magliano. Even today the admissions are increasing: +24 those of intensive care (yesterday +31) and +351 those of the ordinary rooms of Covid (yesterday +79).
