An earthquake was felt on Tuesday morning, at 12:19, in much of the coast of Romagna, but also inland and in Emilia. The earthquake movement was also felt in the Ravenna area, especially on the upper floors. Several calls from across the province came to the Fire Department’s operations room. Numerous reports also on the different social groups.

The vibration is the result of an earthquake in Croatia with a magnitude of 6.4 at a depth of 10 km, in the Petrinja area, about 50 kilometers south of Zagreb. The earthquake was located from the Ingv seismic room in Rome. Already on Monday the Croatian area had been affected by an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 and one of 4.8. The impact was also felt in Italy, probably due to the shallow depth.

At the moment, there is no damage to people or things in the Ravenna area. All municipal offices in charge are alerted to monitor the situation and intervene if necessary. Please note that in case of emergency the contact numbers are 112, 115 and for the local police 0544219219.
