For individual and team sports events and competitions – recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), by the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) and by the respective federations, or organized by international sports organizations – the presence of the public is allowed , with a maximum filling percentage of 15% with respect to the total capacity and in any case no more than the maximum number of 1,000 spectators for outdoor sporting events and 200 spectators for indoor sporting events, exclusively in sports facilities where it is possible to ensure reservation and prior allocation of a seat, with adequate volumes and air changes, provided that respect for the interpersonal distance of at least one meter is ensured both frontally and laterally, with the obligation to measure the temperature when accessing and using a mask to protect the respiratory tract. The autonomous regions and provinces, in relation to the progress of the epidemiological situation in their territories, may establish, in agreement with the Minister of Health, a different maximum number of spectators depending on the size and characteristics of the places and facilities.
The realization of contact sports, identified with a subsequent provision of the Minister of Sport to this decree, is allowed by professional clubs and, both at a competitive and grassroots level, by associations and amateur clubs recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) , of the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), in compliance with the protocols issued by the respective national sports federations, associated sports disciplines and sports promotion bodies, suitable to prevent or reduce the risk of contagion in the reference sector or in similar sectors; on the other hand, all competitions, competitions and all activities related to contact sports, identified above, that are amateur in nature are prohibited.
