When do you play?

The teams of the round of 32 of the Europa League

The first leg matches will be played on Thursday 18 February, while the return matches are scheduled for 25 February, with the exception of Tottenham Hotspur v Wolfsberg, which will be played on Wednesday 24 February 2021 at 18:00 CET . The top seeds play at home in the second leg. Click here for the full match schedule.

Draw procedure

The teams were divided into two bands:

• Seeded heads The 12 group winners and the four best third-placed teams in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

• Not sown The 12 runners-up from the UEFA Europa League groups and other UEFA Champions League teams.

Limitations:

• No team could face a team already faced in the group stage.

• No team could face one from the same federation.

Other information

Variations to the rose
Each team can register up to three new players before midnight on February 2, 2021. Players may have played with another team in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League, but there are restrictions on the number of players in the “List A”. For more information, read article 43 of the regulations.

Possible parity after 180 minutes
The match is decided by first counting the number of goals away from home. In the event of a new tie, extra time is taken. If the teams on the field score the same number of goals in the additional 30 minutes, the away goals count double. If no goals are scored during extra time, they are penalized (alternate shooters).
