In Ciserano, around 8:30 p.m., a man driving a large SUV, originally from Morocco, resident in Antegnate and with various backgrounds in drug trafficking, did not stop at the Zingonia Carabinieri stop.
The man escaped at high speed in the direction of Caquate San Gervasio, assuming a very dangerous driving behavior with dangerous overtaking and at night, even in inhabited centers.
After a chase of about 20 km, the fugitive was stopped by a patrol of the Bergamo Radiomobile in via Milano di Bonate Sopra. Subjected to a search, the man was found in possession of a wooden cane of about 60 cm, several mobile phones and some 18 thousand euros in cash, whose origin he did not justify, hidden in a backpack at the bottom of the trunk of the ‘car.
The man was detained pending trial, while the car, an Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the money and the material found were seized.
