Tragedy in the late afternoon of December 20 in the hills of Livorno, where a Livorno engineer died at the age of 60. Not seeing him return home, his wife and son raised the alarm, with friends who, passionate about motorcycles like him, began looking for him in the Valle Benedetta and Limoncino area, without finding him. Then, after the call to 115, the firefighters also arrived, with the canine nucleus and the alpine nucleus of the speleo river.

Firefighters managed to locate him at night and unfortunately found him dead. At the site, along with them, also an ambulance of the Svs of via San Giovanni (with the doctor on board) and a patrol of the carabinieri of the Livorno Company, led by Major Guglielmo Palazzetti. By order of the deputy attorney on duty, the body was seized by the judicial authority to establish with certainty the causes of death and was transferred to the Los Lobos cemetery for the funeral honors of the SVS.
