It is called Rem, emergency income, the new tool, provided by the latest draft of the relaunch decree, which tries to protect households in conditions of economic need as a consequence of the epidemiological emergency of COVID-19, not covered by subsidies current. The Rem ranges between 400 and 800 euros depending on the family unit; Applications can be sent to the INPS before June. The benefit is paid in two parts, each equal to the recognized amount. Who can benefit from it?
To obtain the Rem, it is necessary to possess, cumulatively: residence in Italy, verified with reference to the component requesting the benefit; Family income below the Rem due, the 2019 family movable assets of less than 10 thousand euros, increased by 5 thousand euros for each component after the first, up to a maximum of 20 thousand euros, and Isee less than 15 thousand euros.
How much is it
Each REM share is determined in an amount equal to 400 euros, multiplied by the corresponding parameter of the equivalence scale up to a maximum of 2, corresponding to 800 euros, or up to a maximum of 2.1 in the event that in the nucleus the Family members are present in conditions of severe disability or lack of self-sufficiency, as defined for the purposes of the Isee.
Disbursement request and procedure
Rem applications can be submitted before the end of June 2020. The models will be prepared by Inps. In fact, INPS recognizes and provides Rem. Rem applications can be sent to tax assistance centers, after concluding an agreement with INPS. Rem applications can also be sent to patronage institutions.
The controls
For verification of possession of INPS and Agenzia delle Entrate requirements, they can exchange data related to the balances and average stocks of personal property of family members in the manner intended for the purposes of the Isee. In the event that, after verifications and controls, non-compliance with the requirements arises, the benefit is withdrawn immediately, without prejudice to the restitution of what was wrongly received and the sanctions provided by current legislation.
