Elections: open seats, 46 million to vote – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 20 – The polling stations for today’s and tomorrow’s elections open at 7. We vote for the Constitutional Referendum, the Senate, Regional and Administrative Supplements.

For the Referendum, 46,415,806 voters are called to the polls, in a total of 61,622 sections. For the Senate Supplements, the persons entitled to vote are 427,824 for Sardinia (single-member college 03 Sassari) in 581 sections and 326,475 for Veneto (single-member college 09 Villafranca di Verona) in 393 sections. The regional elections (in Aosta Valley, Veneto, Liguria, Tuscany, Marche, Campania, Puglia) will have 18,471,692 voters and a total of 22,061 sections. The Administrative will be developed, however, in 957 municipalities, of which 608 in the regions with ordinary statute and 349 in the regions with special statute: for a total of 5,703,817 voters and 6,756 sections. Today the polling stations will be open until 11:00 p.m., Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
