Although the period considered is pre-Covid, the possibility of finding work for those who attend technical institutes continues to grow (for economic and technological management it goes from 48 to 49.59%), while for those who choose to go to College It helps more to have attended a school that does not implement a strict selection and evaluation policy.

These are some of the indications that come from Eduscopio, the portal of the Agnelli Foundation, which helps students to choose the baccalaureate.

The 2020 edition analyzed data from 1,275,000 Italian graduates from 7,400 schools in three subsequent school years (2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17) in approximately 7,400 fields of study in state and peer secondary schools. . From the data examined, Eduscopio proposes in a simple, transparent and free way, useful information to understand whether the secondary school where the students reached maturity has done a good job. A help considered valid if one looks at the number of users – since 2014 more than 1.8 million – who have visited the portal and consulted more than 8.7 million pages.

“This is a difficult time. Many families who have children in the last year of high school are disoriented and may have greater difficulty, during the health emergency, to get a clear idea of the choice of the study path and the high school for the next school year. Eduscopio cannot be the only tool for an informed decision, but we think that the contribution of information, data and comparisons between schools that it offers free of charge can be even more useful ”, observes the director of the Agnelli Foundation, Andrea Gavosto.

Eduscopio also, like every year, ranks the best secondary schools in the largest cities in Italy.

In Rome, Torquato Tasso is confirmed as the first among classical secondary schools and Augusto Righi among scientists. Confirmations also in Turin with the classic Cavour and the scientist Galileo Ferraris and in Naples, where the classic Sannazzaro maintains the primacy and among the scientists the Convitto Vittorio Emanuele. In Milan, however, the best classical high school this year is the Sacro Cuore paritaria which surpasses the Alexis Carrel of the Grossman Foundation, another pair, while among scientists Leonardo da Vinci excels in the Volta.
