An earthquake of magnitude Md 2.6 occurred this morning in Pozzuoli; Solfatara epicenter. The earthquake was recorded at 9.09 with geographic coordinates (lat, lon) 40.83, 14.14 at a depth of 2 km.
The earthquake was located by: Quirófano INGV_OV and was warned by the population. The neighboring Neapolitan district of Bagnoli also trembled. So much fear for the inhabitants. The earthquake was felt in Arco Felice, Quarto, Monterusciello and Pianura. Fortunately, there was no damage to people or things.
The epicenter of the tremors recorded on December 23 at 2.59, magnitude 1.4, and at 22.54 on December 19, a closed sequence of two earthquakes of magnitude 2.7, was located in the same area.
