“New funds for digitization in schools. The Budget Law 2021 foresees an investment of 40 million euros more in digitization, along with the allocation of additional specific resources to enhance administrative and educational action in schools, also through the use of digital animators “

Education Minister Lucia Azzolina writes on Facebook.

Furthermore, “the teacher training teams that are in charge of the implementation of the National Digital School Plan are confirmed and strengthened. A measure, the latter, which aims to accelerate the digitization processes within schools, to promote staff training and the improvement of students’ skills on innovative teaching methodologies and integrated digital teaching ”.

“Digitization is a chapter that particularly concerns me, as evidenced by the work and investments we have made as a Ministry even during the emergency, providing devices and connections to disadvantaged schools and families,” he adds.

“Our goal – he concludes – is now to look beyond the emergency and continue investing in digital in schools. The work that we are carrying out in the Ministry also goes in this direction to make a single digital platform available to schools, starting next year, containing all the services and functionalities useful for schools, including tools for teaching digital ”.
