What should the teacher who works in several schools do?

You must guarantee a presence proportional to your weekly lesson time, which takes place in each place. If the manager does not take into account, in the annual plan of activities, the commitments of teachers in various schools, the teacher can present a plan of collegiate commitments proportional to their hours of service.

However, it may happen that despite the activity plan, the teacher has coincident school activities, for example, two teaching schools on the same day.

In this case there are several criteria to decide which one to participate in: the teacher could, for example. take into account the hours you have already worked at the school for that particular college meeting and thus anticipate your presence at one meeting or another, or decide based on the agendas established for that college. In any case, it is always advisable to discuss with the president’s office to agree.

Other hypotheses of simultaneity of the commitments in which the teacher must participate could be the coincidence of a class council (if it does not meet for scrutiny) or the teachers’ college with a family school meeting. In the latter case, priority is clearly given to the family school meeting.

In any case, the teacher who is absent from a meeting due to being in another school will be justified.

Lesson priority in the case of a college or class council

Although there is no specific rule that regulates the priorities of the collegiate bodies among them, in the case of a teacher who is in service and is in a condition to have to participate in a collegiate activity, reference is made to Legislative Decree No. 297/1994 (Consolidated Law on education legislation) up to art. 5, 7 and 8, in which it says:
art.5, paragraph 8: “The intersection, interclass and class councils are chaired respectively by the didactic director and the director or by a teacher, member of the council, their delegate; They meet at hours that do not coincide with the lesson schedule, with the task of formulating proposals to the teachers’ college in terms of educational and didactic action and experimentation initiatives and with the task of facilitating and expanding mutual relationships between teachers, parents and students .. “

Art. 7 paragraph 5 “University meetings are held during service hours at times that do not coincide with lesson time.”

Art. 8 paragraph 9 “Board meetings are held at times that do not coincide with class time.”

From what has been explained, it follows that the teacher’s lesson has priority over the meetings of the collegiate bodies, whose meetings must necessarily take place at times that do not coincide with the lessons, with the exception of the class council convened for the intermediate and final scrutiny, such as in this case it is a perfect collegiate judging body that requires the presence of all its members for the validity of the agreements to be taken.
