Press release from the Ministry of Education – Tuesday, December 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Ordinance and Guidelines for the introduction of descriptive judgment in the periodic and final evaluation in primary school will be presented during an online meeting.
The Minister of Education will present the work, Lucia azzolina. The interventions of the Vice Minister of Education will follow with the delegation to evaluate Anna Ascani, of the Head of the Department of the Education and Training System, Max Bruschi, and the coordinator of the working group, Elisabetta nigris. Members of the working group will also provide in-depth contributions.

The new evaluation system was identified in light of the provisions of the School Decree – approved last June – to approve the numerical grade and introduce the descriptive judgment for each of the disciplines contemplated in the national curriculum guidelines, including Civic Education. This change aims to make the assessment more and more transparent and in line with the students’ learning trajectory.
