Prime Minister Mett Frederiksn ordered the measure after some cases of transmission of the virus from animals to humans: the phenomenon could compromise the effectiveness of the vaccine.

A resource for the country – The Denmark is a major exporter of mink fur, approx. 17 million of these accessories. Kopenhagen Fur alone meets 40% of world demand, particularly strong in China and Hong Kong. According to government estimates, he promised make up for farmers, the slaughter of 15 million individuals will have an impact of approx. 5 billion crowns (671 million euros).
