The president of the Puglia region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Department of Health Promotion, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Sunday, October 4, 2020, 3,486 tests of infection by coronavirus Covid19 have been registered in Puglia and 151 have been registered positive cases: 97 in the province of Bari, 21 in the province of BAT, 4 in the province of Brindisi, 16 in the province of Foggia, 3 in the province of Lecce, 8 in the province of Taranto, 2 in the province of unknown residence. No deaths were recorded.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 424,869 tests have been carried out. 4,739 they are cured patients. 2,897 are currently positive cases. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 8,234, divided as follows: 3,298 in the province of Bari; 737 in the province of Bat; 779 in the province of Brindisi; 1961 in the province of Foggia; 821 in the province of Lecce; 572 in the province of Taranto; 62 attributed to residents outside the region; 4 province of unknown residence.
The APL prevention departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, in order to trace close contacts.
