There are 1,419 new cases of positivity for Covid-19 infection, registered today in Puglia in 9,480 tests, according to data published by the Department of Health Promotion of the Region: 741 in the province of Bari, 165 in the province of Bat, 161 in the province of Brindisi, 106 in the province of Foggia, 97 in the province of Lecce, 135 in the province of Taranto, 11 outside the region and 3 of unknown residence.
The number of deaths is very high, 72, for a total, since the beginning of the emergency, of 1,660 deaths.
Regarding active cases, currently 42,544 people are positive, of which 40,721 in isolation and 1,823 hospitalized. The number of cured amounts to 16,464.
Since the beginning of the emergency there have been 60,668 confirmed cases, divided as follows: 23,756 in the province of Bari, 6,910 in the province of Bat, 4,310 in the province of Brindisi, 13,720 in the province of Foggia, 4,527 in the province of Lecce, 7,039 in the province of Taranto, 400 outside the region, 6 of unknown residence.
