There are 1,388 new cases of Covid-19 registered today in Puglia, of the 10,188 swabs processed: 547 in the province of Bari, 90 in the province of Brindisi, 219 in the province of BAT, 242 in the province of Foggia, 142 in the Lecce province, 142 in Taranto province, 1 resident outside the region, 5 cases from unknown province.
The number of victims remains high, up to 44 of those verified today: 16 in the province of Bari, 15 in the province of BAT, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 6 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce, 3 in the province of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region.
With the 768 verified today, the number of recovered patients amounts to 21,132. While the active cases are 52,850, of which 1,683 hospitalized (still in decline today) and 51,167 in isolation.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 920,849 tests have been carried out, the total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 76,039, divided as follows: 29,101 in the province of Bari, 8,866 in the province of Bat, 5,630 in the province of Brindisi, 16,952 in the province of Foggia, 5,955 in the province of Lecce, 9,009 in the province of Taranto, 455 attributed to residents outside the region, 71 province of unknown residence.
The Asl Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
