Dead elderly woman at home, prosecuted for murder – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – MONTECASSIANO, DECEMBER 25 – A 78-year-old woman was found dead last night after a robbery at her home, according to reports from her family, whose history is being examined by the carabinieri. The Macerata Prosecutor’s Office is on trial for murder.

Rosina Cassetti, that’s the name of the victim, was found last night on the kitchen floor of a semi-detached house on Via Pertini in Montecassiano (Macerata), where she lived with her husband, daughter and nephew. According to relatives, a man broke into the house, immobilized his daughter and locked her husband in the bathroom. The nephew would be the one to free them when he returned home. The carabinieri investigate without excluding any hypothesis. The husband, daughter and granddaughter of the victim were heard separately by investigators last night. (HANDLE).
