Chadwick Boseman lost his battle with colon cancer that he had been battling for four years. He was 43 years old. The actor had become famous for his starring role in the hit movie “Black Panther,” in which he played the Marvel superhero.

Born Chadwick Aaron Boseman on November 29, 1976 in AndersonIn South Carolina, the actor was the son of Carolyn, a nurse, and Leroy, an upholsterer. In 1995, after graduating from TL Hanna High School, he attended Howard University in Washington DC, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing. The debut dates back to 2003, when Boseman participated in an episode of the television series “Emergency Team”, which was followed by other small television appearances. Also on television he stands out thanks to the recurring role of Nathaniel “Nate” Ray on the television series “Lincoln Heights – Homecoming”.
In 2010 he was part of the cast of the series «Desconocidos», which however, it lasts for a few seasons. She gets her first film role in the 2008 sports movie “The Express.” In the following years he participated in other sports-themed films, such as “42” and “Draft Day.” In 2014 he starred in the biographical film “Get on Up – The Story of James Brown”, based on the life of the “King of Soul” James Brown. Boseman was also a playwright: he had written “Deep Azure,” staged by the Congo Square Theater Company in Chicago. The play was nominated for the 2006 Joseph Jefferson Award.
Throughout his career, Boseman has written, directed and produced several short film. In October 2014, the signing of the contract with Marvel Studios to play the African superhero Black Panther in six Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including “Captain America: Civil War”, “Black Panther”, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers Final game”.
