In the last 24 hours in Italy, 21,261 positive cases of coronavirus and 376 deaths from COVID-19 have been detected. Currently there are 32,203 hospitalized (205 less than yesterday), of which 3,714 in intensive care units (10 more than yesterday) and 28,489 in the rest of the wards (215 less than yesterday). 190,264 molecular swabs and 168,950 rapid antigenic tests were analyzed. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 10.4 percent, while that of antigen tests was 0.8 percent. On Friday, 21,932 infections were recorded and 481 died.

The regions that have registered the most cases in the last 24 hours are Lombardy (4,132), Campania (2,314), Puglia (2,142), Piedmont (2,127), Emilia-Romagna (1,789).

The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, signed the new ordinances that establish the colors of the regions as of April 6, when the three days of special rules for the Easter period will end. From Tuesday, Veneto, Marche and the autonomous province of Trento will go from the red zone to the orange one. Calabria, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Piedmont, Puglia, Tuscany and Valle d’Aosta will remain in the red zone for at least two weeks.
