After yesterday’s slight decline, positives for the coronavirus in Italy are on the rise again. According to the data reported in today’s bulletin, Tuesday, October 20, issued by the Ministry of Health, 10,874 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 9,338), for a total of 434,449 infected since the beginning of the emergency sanitary. The total cured are 255,005 (+2,046 in the last 24 hours, yesterday they were +1498) and the dead are 36,705 (+89, yesterday they were 73). In Italy there are currently 142,739 positive cases: of these, 8,454 patients are hospitalized with symptoms, while 870 are in intensive care. Overall, the swabs performed in the last 24 hours were 144,737, for a total of 13,784,181 since the start of the epidemic. The Region with the most positive cases in the last 24 hours is Lombardy, with 2,023 more infections, followed by Piedmont and Campania.
