Yellow zone, orange zone, red zone: we were used to it. We had even gotten good at switching from one band to another, keeping in mind the bans that would be removed or added. But the virus has changed, the variants are running and English, says the CTS, will be predominant as early as mid-March. And then here is a new color: dark orange. It means that it includes all the restrictions of the orange zones (such as bars and restaurants open only for take-out and home delivery) but adds others, from the total Dad to the prohibition of leaving the house for no reason, as in the red zone. .
The dark orange, for now, exactly like the red zone, is a tone adopted by the individual presidents of the region together with the mayors of the territory for those municipalities or provinces in critical situation. It is not the same everywhere: the dark orange of the municipalities of Brescia is not the same as in Emilia Romagna and Liguria.
Brescia, schools closed and second homes banned
In Lombardy (yellow zone region), they called it «reinforced orange». Since February 23, the entire province of Brescia ended up in this range, struggling with a worrying increase in infections, eight municipalities in the province of Bergamo and one (Soncino) in the province of Cremona. They will remain there at least until March 2.
As in the orange zone, Table service is prohibited in bars and restaurants and you cannot leave your municipality but, here are the differences, it is also planned to close all schools: infant, primary, middle and secondary. Second homes are also prohibited, which are allowed by the current Dpcm until March 5.
Lombardy also has four municipalities in the red zone at least until today: Bollate (Milan), Castrezzato (Brescia), Viggiù (Varese) and Mede (Pavia).
Emilia Romagna, 14 municipalities in quasi blockade
From Thursday, February 25 to March 11, 14 municipalities of Emilia-Romagna (region in orange) will enter the dark orange zone: Imola, Castel San Pietro, Medicina, Mordano, Castel Guelfo, Dozza, Casalfiumanese, Fontanelice, Borgo Tossignano, Castel del Rio, Bagnara di Romagna, Conselice, Massa Lombarda and Riolo Terme.
In Emilia Romagna, dark orange tends to red: travel is prohibited, both within the same municipality and to neighboring municipalities, except for those motivated by proven work needs, situations of need (such as purchasing goods) or health reasons. However, return to home, home or residence is allowed.
As for the school, everything is closed: 100% Dad for institutions of all types and levels except infant-infant centers (0 to 3 years) and nurseries. Events and competitions organized by sports promotion bodies have been suspended, as well as sports activities carried out in open-air sports centers. Sports activities will be allowed only individually and exclusively outdoors. It is possible to carry out the motor activity individually in the vicinity of the house, provided that in any case the distance is at least one meter from any other person and with the obligation to use respiratory protection devices. Cultural and recreational activities are also suspended.
However, nothing changes for economic activities, for which the national regulations in force for the Orange Zone remain in force, including personal service activities.
Liguria, the Sanremo and Ventimiglia cases
In Liguria (region in orange) they are now in dark orange the health districts of Ventimiglia and Sanremo. They will remain there until March 5, thus also including the first four days of the Festival (scheduled from 2 to 6). Schools of all levels and kindergartens are closed and play areas in parks, villas and public gardens are prohibited for minors. Prohibition of driving between 21 and 5 in Ventimiglia and neighboring municipalities. After 18.00 hours it is forbidden to carry and sell alcohol, home delivery is always in effect. Meetings are prohibited and public and private events are allowed only in static form as long as spaces and other containment measures are respected.
