Dalmine (Bergamo), January 3, 2021 – A turning point in the investigations ofassassination of Franco Colelleoni. The Carabinieri of the Bergamo Provincial Command have stopped his son Francesco.
The activity of the Judicial Police continued uninterrupted from the moment in which the discovery of the body of the 68-year-old man made it possible to verify that yesterday morning, after yet another dispute about the reopening of their restaurant, father and son, local cook, had a fight during which the 34-year-old man violently beat his father causing him to fall to the ground and making him hit his head several times on a stone in the courtyard. The supposed reason is in bad family relationships and in those related to the management of the family restaurant.
Overnight the arrested admitted the soldiers of the Investigative Unit and the Treviglio Company the fight with their father but did not remember anything of the fact, being declared detained. Subsequently, the prosecutor Fabrizio Gaverini questioned the detainee assisted by his trusted lawyer. Francesco was taken to Bergamo prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
