Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10, thrilling many users, but disappointing the expectations of owners of older and mid-generation consoles. Although on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X the title was playable enough, on PS4 and Xbox One it was a real disaster: between unacceptable frame drops, intrusive pop-ups and continuous crashes, many users have found a title on their hands to put aside pending the availability of next-generation consoles.
On next-gen consoles, though not without flaws, CD PROJEKT RED’s action / RPG is a feast for the eyes, as well as on PC, the perfect platform to fully exploit the potential of this gigantic work. As promised by the Polish software house in a statement of apology and where he offered the possibility of a refund to disappointed users (click here for more information), New patches have arrived to improve the situation.
First 1.04 and now 1.05, in light of the two big updates scheduled for January and February 2021. But stop talking and let’s discuss the improvements made by the new patch together! As shown in the video above, the Xbox One X version of the title shows a marked improvement on the frame rate front, going from an average of 15 fps to a near-fixed 30 fps. In terms of resolution, it now fluctuates between 1224p and 1368p, greatly improving the visual impact.
There are still uninspiring improvements on the base Xbox One: from 11 fps, now we go to 22 fps; still a few, but a clear step forward. Receive an improvement in visual impact with a resolution ranging from 720p to 900p. On Sony home consoles, unfortunately, The patch has slightly improved the visual appearance of the PS4 version. PlayStation users, therefore, will have to be a bit patient. On the other hand, January is upon us and we hope the development team can offer users what Cyberpunk 2077 should have been all along.
On Amazon Italy, the aforementioned Cyberpunk is available at a discounted price on the PS4 and Xbox versions.
