Marchi posted on Facebook a video filmed next to the refrigerator, in which he recounted the episode: “Dear friends and fellow citizens, today we are inaugurating a new service of the Gerre de ‘Caprioli Town Hall. As you can see, we found this abandoned refrigerator in front of the landfill. Fortunately, however, the cameras captured the vehicle that was transporting it and that is why this new service consists in that we have left a little dedication to the owner and now we bring it back home, ”he said, showing the tall steel-colored refrigerator.
“Obviously then next week we will also give him a fine,” said Marchi in the video in which he explains that the “dear sir” comes from a neighboring country. “Attention to waste management is essential,” he concluded, receiving applause from his fellow citizens.
