The number of infections in Abruzzo continues to grow and today, Friday, October 9, we return to three figures.

A total of 4,886 positive cases of Covid 19 have been recorded in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency.

Compared to yesterday there are 103 new cases (between 3 and 96 years old). There are 8 positives under 19 years of age, of which 4 in the province of Pescara, 1 in the province of Chieti and 3 in the province of Teramo.

Among the places with the most cases are Teramo (9), Montesilvano (9), Colonnella (9), San Salvo (7), L’Aquila (6), Avezzano (6) and Vasto (6).

The balance of patients deceased registers 1 new case and amounts to 487 (it is an 80 year old from the province of Chieti).

The number of positive cases also includes 3150 discharged / cured (+5 compared to yesterday, of which 18 of symptomatic with clinical manifestations associated with Covid 19 became asymptomatic and 3132 that resolved the symptoms of the infection and were negative in two consecutive tests).

The positive currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total positives) is 1249 (+97 compared to yesterday).

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 218,754 tests have been carried out (+2787 compared to yesterday).

The numbers: 100 patients (+10 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 7 (unchanged from yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 1,142 (+87 from yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.

Of all positive cases, 752 are residents or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+24 compared to yesterday), 1148 in the province of Chieti (+22), 2005 in the province of Pescara (+18), 931 in the province of Teramo ( +39), 37 outside the region (no change) and 13 (no change) for which provenance controls are being carried out.
