Two children belonging to two different classes of a Bagnacavallo nursery school tested positive, albeit asymptomatic, for Covid19 and, consequently, all classmates were quarantined by Ausl.

in a official communication from Auls Romagna reports that the Ravenna Public Hygiene staff carried out a control intervention at the Bagnacavallo State Nursery School, in which two children, completely asymptomatic and now isolated, tested positive on Sunday, September 20, to the swab carried out on September 19, following contact tracing activity.

For this morning swabs have been organized for all the children who attend the two corresponding sections and for their teachers -explains the Ausl-. Timely communication to parents was possible thanks to the collaboration of the Municipal Administration of Bagnacavallo and the Director of the Integral Institute of Bagnacavallo on Sunday. Parent representatives actively collaborated to reach out to all interested families. For teachers and for most of the children (in this case under the responsibility of an adult relative) the quarantine period of 14 days must be carried out.

The Integral Institute is providing the Extraordinary environmental sanitation provided for by current protocols. The Community Pediatrics Operational Unit is collaborating with the school to monitor the situation.
