If on October 17 the director of the Epidemiological Observatory of the Regional Health Agency, Fabio Voller, He asked aloud, in his report, that red zones be established in the areas where the contagion spread the most. The epidemic had started to grow exponentially on October 4, doubling the number of infections and the number of beds each week. Why didn’t anyone listen to Voller when he repeated that he never wanted to be forced to say “we told you so” later?
Today regional politics, Governor Eugenio Giani, asks the government to pay the bill: it demands, even legitimately, explanations. Not as other regions had done in the dawn of Italy in color, just to raise the level of political conflict, but because we should decide to close the barn before we find the oxen grazing. But there is also someone who, with the same reason, asks Giani why he was not the first, at least two weeks ago at the latest, to raise his hand to say that the epidemic in Tuscany was out of control.
