Now it has become a torment for us journalists too. You don’t have time to make an appointment, a date for a summit, because the day has already changed everything. It’s frustrating. The new point between the government, the regions and the technical-scientific committee – to decide more grips for the different colored areas (and which should also shed light on the mystery of Campania which is still “yellow”) – was brought forward from Sunday 15 to tomorrow, Friday, November 13. Ordinances and Dpcm that should take at least two weeks to take effect, is already a lot if they last a couple of days. This is now the perspective of the intervention of the Council of Ministers, including the last decree of early November, which will be replaced again in just over 24 hours.
Just yesterday Abruzzo, Basilicata, Liguria, Umbria and Tuscany turned oranges and Palazzo Chigi is already preparing to recolor 4 more tomorrow: Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Friuli and Campania that no one understands how it could have even overcome the second strait, remaining in the “Yellow” zone after the third world scenes seen in hospitals. So much so that today it was necessary to send army soldiers to set up triages and health facilities to support the collapsing public ones. There is no perspective: a single, harmonious and decisive intervention that clarifies the rules and exceptions – also assumed at the municipal level – that separate the lives of citizens only a few hundred or ten kilometers away. Only one thing is certain in the sea of the unknown: any new action taken will be strictly limited and certainly not concessional. The limitations, at this stage, will only increase.
